(Yes, I grew up in the Pacific Northwest but driving in rain isn't all that dangerous. Yes, I know that western Washingtonians are equally stupid drivers at the first flake of snow.)

I don't really have a lot of pet peeves but one came up tonight. When I rule the universe the crime of not counting out change correctly will subject to corporal punishment. Tonight I had a cashier just set my money down on the counter and walk away. Nothing so fun as trying to scrape 97 cents off a dirty counter.
Western Washingtonians may mock the East side for whatever it is they like to mock us about, but they are really sad when it comes to snow. One inch and Seattle goes to pieces. Pussies. For those not in the weather loop, Eastern Washington often gets hit with an amazing amount of snow, at which time we go skiing.
