The other day I had "chicken curry" at a diner. It was very, very bad. But when I was talking to Lani about it I said "you know, if they hadn't called it chicken curry, it still wouldn't have been good but it wouldn't have been bad either."
That's kind of how I feel about the biegnets at Jazz Kitchen Express. They're fine, just not if you compare them in you head with sitting in the Quarter at Cafe du Monde in the middle of the night watching the city go by (I wasn't even a big fan of the biegnets, but the atmosphere is fantabulous).
