So, the first weekend of HalloweenTime at the Disneyland Resort has passed, and the homepage on
www.disneyland.com still does not mention HalloweenTime or any of the related decorations and activities. Why? Perhaps an internal business strategy could be to
not create too many high expectations about HalloweenTime before arriving at the Disneyland Resort? Or, is the marketing department suppose to hype the start of "Year of a Million Dreams" (which began Oct. 1) instead? However, Mickey's Halloween Treat at Disney's California Adventure has been mentioned for months, and some dates are already sold out.
Sorry for all the speculating. In the end, my observation is that HalloweenTime 2006 is being used as "filler" in between the end of the 50th and before the start of the busy Christmas/holiday season. But, I'm not complaining--I love all the decorations and temporary "pluses" to both Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure.
