Batman fans can now get their hands on a fully roadworthy replica of the Batmobile from the 1960s TV series.

Wet sanded by hand to get rid of any surface paint imperfections, the iconic vehicles also boast custom leather seats, a push-button ignition, working lights and a brand new GM350 crate engine to power their fibreglass body.

More importantly, as well as the flame throwers, gadgets include opening roll-top dashboard doors, a flashing red beacon, an automatic Batbeam antenna grid and a glowing Detect-a-Scope radar screen.



Adding a 21st-century touch are a six-speaker sound system, a dash-mounted DVD player and electric actuators that open the bonnet and boot.
