Jungle Cruise Updates

After hearing the "not so hot" spiel from mousepod's recording, I thought i should ride the jungle cruise since its been a while. Also CP told me about how the baboons were relocated to where the gorillas were so I wanted to take a picture of the baboons in there new location with the gorillas. A.K.A. - Monkey Bonanza. Quick note. I ended up sitting on the wrong side. so maybe next time. all i could get was a shot of the mama gorilla holding up here baby. well its something i guess considering i was shooting on the wrong side, between two people heads and thru the railing at night without a flash. anyways, I was pleasantly surprised with some updates to the ride that i never new about. for example, piranhas!! yay! I liked this. Right after the hippos and there ear fetish, there’s a moment where the skipper warns about bubbles being a sign of danger. Yeah, smelly danger says I. And i was hanging over the rail thinking, "oh yeah, ooooo.. bubbles. ok. next.." but then piranhas were scrimmaging up from the water. it was a nice and effective surprise. There must have been 30 of em. The next update, to me anyways, was the new and improved head hunter trader at the end. AKA - Trader Sam. This guy is FREAKY. It was the first time i felt a animatronic was actually looking at me. And only me. I got some nice shots of him. But man, what a look. Wooh.

By the way, the parrot that squawks at the entrance is still not back in pirates. He’s been gone for at least 2 weeks now. So I doubt he will be there during the LOT meet. So cherish you memories of him now. Squawk in peace hommie

I saw the updated Trader Sam too. He's FREAKY looking.

I just wish the Jungle Cruise skippers could be a little freer with the spiel. The guy was so bored that he wasn't even talking to anyone. Just leaning over the wheel and staring out the front.

I know, I know. I'm so guilty. I've just been spending so much time on pirates ever since i heard about the update. I've been covering pirates every single weekend now and I still don’t have everything i want captured. Mainly due to trying to overcome impossible technical difficulties. I think the cast members are on to me too. And im so sure the guy/gal who monitors the infrared cameras notice me because sometimes I have tripod setup in the boat. hahaha...

After Pirates is not a priority anymore, i can move around. Although I have neglected Inoventions for years. I do admit that one. But can you really blame me? I ASSIMO still there?
