				Tax preparation
Anyone else out there like me and procrastinating? I actually did finish them yesterday, this being the latest I've ever done them. This was because I knew I was going to owe lots. And I was right. Ick. |

				            | No, I did mine as soon as I got all my stuff. Already got my state refund and have to send that to the Feds. |

				            | I received my refund in January. I knew I was getting $ back and I had this weird goal to see if I could get it in January.

				            | We worked on them all weekend. Hopefully we'll get them done next weekend. I really need to buy a couch! |

				            | I got the papers from our accountant; I need to review them, sign them, and get them back to the guy. For some reason I keep forgetting.

| Kink of Swank | This is the first year in forever I can't use the simple return, so I did mine thru Turbo Tax over a month ago. But - ugh - they say I owe $5,000. I've been so busy trying to come up with that money, I haven't sat down and gone over the returns with a fine-tooth. I want to do that this week, and hope for some error that means I owe less $. I doubt that will be the case, but I can't fork over that kind of money without making sure I owe it. Of course, if I understood how to do this type of return, I could have done it myself in the first place. I'm sure my returns will be postmarked April 14. |

| Senior Member | I had an accountant do it. With all Mom's stuff I inherited, buying a house and then I had to do Estate taxes as well. I owed a scary amount - but I knew I would so it was in reserve. Looking forward to next year and a simpler return.

				            | I did them a couple months ago and owed so waited to pay. Bought a new computer and didn't want to have to install Turbo Tax on the new machine just to file so I went ahead and did so over the weekend before shutting down the old computer. |
