				          | Chrystal Cove Beach Cottages Tomorrow Brendan and I will be heading down to The Chrystal cove beach cottages for a bit of close enough to our wedding anniversary sun and sand. Have any of you ever been to the park? I am sure I went as a child but have not been since we moved to SoCal. We have the "Romantic Retreat" cottage, I am so excited, even now I am trying to figure out how much junk to take (or not). There is even a swell tiki bar/restaurant in the area called The beachcomber cafe. There is also a Ruby's shake shack, but I hear it is closed for remodel. Anyhow, if anyone local wants to come down for a visit (you have to be gone by 10pm) give us a call, you would have to negotiate the parking across the street (on the webpage). But I think it will be worth it as they are trying to recreate the 1930s-50s California feel. Hrmm maybe some vintage clothing is in order. |

| Kink of Swank | OMG, so envious! I've always wanted to rent out a Crystal Beach cottage, but you need to make arrangements like a year in advance ... and even I don't usually plan that far ahead. Even for a day trip, the beach is so serene and beautiful, and The Beachcomber is such good food and fun. Yep, I'd pay you two a visit and spoil your anni-honeymoon if you weren't clever enough to do this on a school night. Enjoy! |

				            | Beachcomber cafe is awesome. Not sure how much of a hike it is from the cottage but they offer a shuttle from the parking lot. |

| Kink of Swank | And when I type "Crystal Beach," I mean "Crystal Cove." And when I type, "OMG, so envious," I mean "I hate you." |
