Color me not surprised to see a 76 point game. With a messed up off season, players not in professional condition and lacking the practice and discipline of a full NFL training, defense is going to suffer the most. I expect a lot of high scoring games for the first few weeks.

I'm looking forward to the Redskins carrying on the proud tradition that is professional sports in the Capitol region.

The selection of Rex Grossman should help that along pretty well.

So you'd think, but the first two games so far have been somewhat disappointing in that regard.

Give him time. Sometimes you have to wait until you're in the Super Bowl for him to be a disappointment.

Thanks for the kind thoughts. With two wins under their belts things are already staring to get out of hand around here. People are once again flying those little flags on their cars and wearing team stuff in public. Activities heretofore considered too embarrassing for all but the most pathetic devotees.
