Sudoku anyone?
Has anyone else tried this new puzzle they're publishing in the L.A. Times? It's a logic puzzle using numbers that started in Japan. I don't usually do very well with logic puzzles (I give up very easily) but I was determined to figure this one out and now, I confess, I'm hooked.
There's more information here. Excuse me, today's puzzle is waiting... ![]() |

Heh, Sudoku is the one game at puzzle japan I end up not doing. They get REALLY hard there. But I love the easy ones.

When the Times first started publishing them about a month ago, they rated the difficulty levels as Gentle, Moderate, Tough, and Diabolical, with the difficulty level increasing to Diabolical by the end of the week. I haven't seen one rated Diabolical since that first week (they must have realized that would scare everyone away). Now they print mostly Gentle and Moderate level. But the weird thing is, sometimes I've found a so-called Tough puzzle easier to deal with than a Gentle.
