At first I was just upset that someone had changed those wonderful kitschy dinosaurs in Cabazon. Now that I've read the whole article, I'm speechless.

I read the article, but I'll be damned if I can figure out the connection - Poor Dinosaurs, just another set of pawns in the culture wars.

I've actually heard someone in the park mention this. It's the rotating sign at the Tomorrowland train station advertising Primeval World. It does mention "millions of years ago", and I overheard a parent say something to their kid like, "Of coure, that's not true, is it billy? The world is only about 6000 years old."

And I guess "god" intentionally created all the evidence of "millions of years old" as a misinformation campaign to throw all the scientists off. "God" and his silly sense of humor.

It's contradictory.

Scientists use dinosaurs to lure innocent little children to the evils of evolution. Bad scientists!

But the main thing seems to be that creationists are able to find things that are threats to their faith everywhere they look. How sad to live in a world like that.
