Apple Store opening at Irvine Spectrum - Feb. 11

For all you Apple Computer fans in Southern California:

The grand opening for a new Apple Store at the Irvine Spectrum shopping mall will take place Saturday, Feb. 11 at 10 a.m.

71 Fortune Drive
Irvine, CA 92618
in the Irvine Spectrum shopping mall

As with other Apple Store grand openings, the first 1,000 people will receive a free, coveted Apple T-Shirt. The shirts are usually simple but cool with the Apple logo and name of the Apple Store location/city underneath.

Be advised to get there early if you want a free shirt, as many Apple geeks and Mac evangelists start lining up hours in advance for the camaraderie, the cool shirt and the excitement of a new Apple Store as it opens its grand-opening doors. Some of those in line will have Apple laptops and iPods in tow.

PC users are always welcome.

I don't want to say who as I do not know if he wants to be outed, but somebody on this board is/will be an Apple Genius at that store.

That's uber cool. I hope to be a Mac geek soon again. Maybe if I wait long enough, though, there will an iMac witha 42 inch screen available.
