My favorite bird is the red cardinal. I don't know why, it has always been so since I was a kid. Love how bright they are. Very pretty.

I stepped out onto my back porch to see one at eye level sitting on a fence. It sat chirping at me. I think that's good juju for me. So very pretty. I wished I had a camera. Bright red.

I finally got pictures of him yesterday. His name is Ramón. Why Ramón? Well, it's a long story...
