A wedding

Greetings, my long lost friends of the LOT Commune! As I do not do Facebook or Instagram or any other form of social media, I felt it necessary to inform you all of major happenings in my household.

First, yesterday, my daughter of 23 years graduated from college yesterday.

Secondly, that same daughter gets married on Sunday to the love of her life, who also graduated yesterday.

Strange timing, but his family is coming from upstate New York, so this way they only had to travel once.

They both already have good jobs lined up - Heather working at the school she just graduate from (meaning both she and her fiancé Paul can get free masters degrees), and Paul will be working as an athletic trainer at a local high school.

Please join me in raising a glass to the happy and college graduated couple!

(and on a strange side note, his twin brother has the same rare disease of achalasia that I do....odd coincidence)

Congrats! I can't imagine the stress levels in planning a wedding while finishing up those last hard classes for a degree, but I'm glad they made it through!
