I know what you're thinking - "Who the @#%$ is Didier Ghez?" Well, if you're a Disney research geek (like I am), the guy's an answer to your prayers. Not only does he maintain an annotated list of all the best Disney books published anywhere and write the best Disney history blog in existence ("Disney History", naturally), but he is the editor of the incredible "Walt's People" series of books, which presents long-form interviews with the people who created the magic of Disney that we all love so much.

I figured he was worth a podcast.

So, with a short break from the movie chronology, The MousePod proudly presents, live from Madrid, Spain... Didier Ghez. (That's who!)

Oh, stop it. I have four shows ready to go (in the chamber, so to speak), but I've been a little busy, y'know? Burning CDs (ahem) and finishing my resumé (LoT peer pressure to move to SoCal was too much for this little guy to handle - anyone know of any good jobs?).

The locals know I've mostly wished you would slow down ... when you were spittin' them out at one per week.

Ooh, I hadn't heard the TMBG stuff from Meet the Robinsons yet. Nice to hear them doing some straight up big band stuff, not often you get to hear that from them. It's still got that signature TMBG sound that I'd recognize anywhere though

Can't wait to get home and plug it in to the iPod to listen! I've been looking forward to this one and am looking forward to the Barrier one. Don't forget Jesse, Barrier's new book on Walt is being featured and promoted on TCM this month.

Mr Ghez has quite a few books out. From what I remember we had talked about it when The Ward Kimball Short "Escalation" was released.

I had some trouble listening too it with the phone conversations in my car because it was windy and my radio is crap sadly. I love listening to this podcast on my way to work.

Listened this morning on the way in (I love being able to play the iPod in the car) and finished up here. Another really good shew, Jesse!
