				Bornieo goes to Monterey
So, this past weekend I took a journey up to Monterey/ Carmel for the wedding of Nic & Robin (Gwyrne and Hippie) and it gave me a chance to hang out in the area and see the Aquarium and the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. I went to the Monterey Aquarium on Monday and it was fairly busy for a weekday, I would think. The exibits were fantastic as was the whole area where the buildings sit - Cannery Row. The Seals were out on the rocks and it was interesting to see where Star Trek 4 was filmed. heheh I had lunch at the "fancy" place there at the Aquarium and it was terrible. The Clam Chowder was not good at all with giant clams that were very tough. I ordered a steak sandwich, which was like chewing rubber. All of this at a cost of $30. Wholly cow. Sunday I went up to the Santa Cruze boardwalk and rode the famous Big Dipper Coaster which was phenominal. Rode it 9 times and its advertised as the oldest working coaster. It was a beautiful day there and I really had a great time. Also, I found some roasted Pecan's that I've been searching for since Disney World. Yum Saturday was the wedding, which I think the couple would like to keep private but, here are a couple shots of me and where the event happend. It could not have been a better day with the sun shining and the waves crashing - it was picture perfect. The reception was at a place called Forge in the Forest and the food was incredible. I can't say enough good things about it. The bar at the reception Nic and I The view from the ceremony. So, a toast to the bride and groom and a big congrats!! |

| I Floop the Pig | Awesome trip and congrats to the newlyweds. I love the Big Dipper. Is the carousel, with the rings to throw, still there?

| Lego | Saw a hammerhead shark and a couple others. Not sure which was that. Yeah, the carousel is there and I rode a few times but never got a ring into the clowns mouth. hehe |

				            | Stoat & I did a "Fly-by" ride on the Giant Dipper on our way to SFO. As a Coaster Geek, I had to, because it's the first coaster that Vincent Price rides in the Doco "America Screams". It had some really nice "head-chopper" moments, as I recall.
