I saw that earlier and was very confused since I very specifically remembered Bozo the Clown dying while I was living in Hawaii back in '96-'98.

That was Bob Bell, the WGN version of Bozo the Clown. I've never seen any version of Bozo (we had Ramblin' Rod in the Portland TV market) and didn't know it was a franchise.

Larry Harmon was kind of like the Ray Croc of Bozos.

The original Bozo was Pinto Colvig, known for his voicing of "Goofy" around these parts
