A New Thought for Christmas - Melissa Etheridge

Melissa Etheridge appeared on Oprah on Friday with wife Tammy. She voiced her opposition to Prop 8 and Oprah agreed with her. It was great. Towards the end, she pimped her new Christmas album "A New Thought for Christmas". To show my support for what she did, I bought her album. It's good. It's a Christmas album for religious folk and "heathens" like me. Not only that, it's a call to arms for the gay and gay-friendly community to unite and strive for equality. It's wonderful.

So, I bought this on iTunes and saw that all the bad reviews for this album were by close-minded religious folk who probably didn't even listen to it. Sad. So, I added my own positive review to her page.

I was visiting my mom and she had it on. She watches msnbc then fox then msn then fox, trying to get both sides of the spectrum. So the subject matter naturally caught my attention, and i thought i should have a listen in a know-thy-enemy kind of way.
