Tenerife Camel Park
Ken and I are thinking about a camel caravan safari during our stop in Tenerife:
Tenerife Camel Park The website looks fun, but I can't get over the random cheesiness of the graphics on this page: http://camelpark-tenerife.com/es/parque.htm I especially love the random girl jumping over the camel against a bright sun-colored moon......  And, check out the children waving checkered racing flags by a school bus on this page: http://camelpark-tenerife.com/es/precios.htm So, have any of you ridden camels before? It looks fun! |

I have ridden a camel before. It was at a fair when I was kid, but there wasn't anything particularly interesting about it beyond the initial fact of being on a camel.

Yeah, keep in mind that in the regions where camel riding is frequent, whenever it was feasible to do so they used horses instead.

A week or so ago some lady who ran a camel joint was crushed by a camel. It knocked her down, sat on her and wouldn't move.
No Camel Light jokes, please.
