The Internet of Spys

I had a doctors appointment yesterday to check in on my CPAP usage. I brought along the SD card that tracks my usage, but before I could hand it to the technician, she was already going over the results from the cloud available data. For a moment It felt weird that here was all this data about my sleep habits just out there available to anyone who could gain access.

Then I realized my Fitbit reveals even more, not to mention the data my phone is capturing and forwarding on. We live in a post privacy world, but somehow it still surprises me when the illusion of privacy is revealed.
