A NorCal girl no more

As of June I won't be a NorCal girl anymore! We got notice from our landlord that we have to be out by June first so we started house hunting and just came up totally empty handed. Kurt suggested looking further down south, Bakersfield, due to his business(most of his work is in that area)and we went down this weekend to look around. We ended up finding a house all four of us liked the first day! (after looking at 15 others PLUS new houses online)we put an offer in on Saturday and found out today that they accepted! So we're moving! The house is in the school district we liked (very highly rated yay!)and it's within walking distance to the new jr. high and elementary. It's 1725 sq ft, 4 bdrm, 2bth with a very nice sized lot, 7800 sq ft and a gated pool that has a rock waterfall in the back! Plus, a nice sized grassy area big enough for a playfort for the kids!

Now I just have to convince Kurt that THIS is a necessity for the backyard and I"m set!

Just wanted to share! I'm beyound excited about FINALLY becoming a homeowner!!!
