Walt Disney Birthplace Preservation Project

On this week's The Season Pass podcast Doug and Brent talked about the project to restore the house in Chicago that Flora and Elisa Disney built and lived in and where Walt and Roy was first grew up. Take a listen to the show through the link below. There is a KickStarter effort to raise money to restore the property and turn it into a landmark. If you donate $5 or more during the first week starting today thru December 11 you will be entered into a contest to win a night in the residence, a special historical piece of the home or Christmas Mickey and Minnie ears in addition to the regular KickStarter rewards. Check the links for all the specific details.

There are a lot of us Disney fans out there, please help the cause by either sharing this post or a link to one of the sites on your FB page or other forums to spread awareness of this project. Here's a chance to have a part in restoring a location directly tied into Walt himself.
