I need help on May 4-8!

Ok, here's the poop: Disney is debuting their "official" podcast with special behind-the-scenes coverage of the 50th celebrations this week. While I will most certainly tune in, I'd like to present the MousePod audience with some cool in-front-of-the-scenes coverage of the same events.

In order to do that, I'm going to need a couple of volunteers to let me call them on their cell phone from time to time while they're in the park this week/weekend so they can share the info on how it's all going down from a Guest's perspective. The crowds at the Emporium, the beautiful new look of the castle, the parade, the whole deal.

Will you be a roving reporter?

I'll be there the morning of May 5th, and I am at your service...except that at this very moment I have almost completely lost my voice from a combo of concert-going and a stuffed nose/phelmy throat. Bleh.

I'll let you know if I get it back in time.

Well, if reports from as late as Sunday will do, let me know and I'll PM you my cell.

(If you want earlier reports from doings on May 4th, I can get you live reports from the Uva Bar after 7 pm, and will have on hand two lucky AP winners whom you might wangle interviews from -- they will have been in the Park that day, but kicked out before the untouchable celebrities arrived)

I think I'll be doing a short update on the evenings of the 4th and the 5th, and then I'll do a full-on 50th kickoff review show next Wednesday - so any "live" calls through the weekend will do nicely.

If you PM me, make sure to let me know what "theme music" you want - the Commodore will of course be getting his toot.
