Happy Bastille Day!
216 years ago today was the storming of the Bastille marking the beginning of the French Revolution.
I think I may have to let the diet slip further south and visit our local crêpery to celebrate. So what will you do today to mark the occasion? Sip some Champagne? Watch the Tour? Guillotine your oppressors? Eat some cake? NPR had a wonderful story on "Pain Couture" this morning, perhaps that's a start
