Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Soundtrack

I listened to it all the way home from Disneyland, and I've been listening to it since I woke up today;
and so far I've got to say, this is some of Danny Elfman's best work in YEARS...
The Augustus Gloop song is so deeply stuck in my head, I don't know what'll remove it.

It was hard to decipher the lyrics at times, but I'm fairly certain they took them (at least in large part) directly from Dahl's rhyme. Very, very awesome stuff. The music was terrific!

I really, really enjoyed the movie.

Being a loser who likes to stay through the credits, I can confirm that the lyrics are indeed attributed to Mr. Dahl.

The music was indeed quite good. Loved the opening credits sequence too.

I shall endeavour to see this so called Charlie film, when I am good and ready!

But who am I kidding, I will never be good. But I guess I am ready. It appears most here on this site enjoyed this slice of cinema pie. I have read it is very Burtonesque.

So who is not going with me?

Danny Elfman is so awesome! I was a huge Boingo fan back in the days and now when ever I see the Elfman is scoring a movie I'll go see the movie just because he scored it!
