The 42-year-old woman used rope to hang herself across the street from some homes on a moderately busy road late Tuesday or early Wednesday, state police said.

The body, suspended about 15 feet above the ground, could be easily seen from passing vehicles.

One of those "Urban legends come true" incidents. Suicide is awful enough, but to be dangling there for hours while people drove by......yeesh.

Suicide is tragic to be sure, but this is one hell of a dramatic exit that I can't help but appreciate.
