GREAT Commercial

Shoot, and now I don't remember if it was Volvo or VW (VW I think).

We were up late last night watching Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. Now, I know we don't watch commercials much anymore thanks to our DVR, but either commercial quality in general has gotten much better, or Adult Swim advertisers know that they've got an audience where quality advertising makes a difference. We saw a bunch of really good ones, but this one was my favorite.

It was a very simple premise. Three couples who had obviously just seen some chick-flick, each in their own cars driving home. The girls were all sniffling and teary-eyed...and trying to get their guys to admit they had cried. It flipped between the 3 cars, following the three conversations.

"You had your hand on your chin the whole time."
"That's called concentation, I was..." SLAM!!!!!!

Right in the middle of the guy's sentence, you see the car get t-boned hard. Completely out of nowhere, total shock. The rest of the commercial was about the car's safety features. It was some really effective advertising (save for the part where I can't remember which car brand it was...)
