Alive again
Not that I was dead
But rather stupefied
Like a zombie

Moving like the undea
Pleasureless
Indiscriminant
Without love or reason

I awoke today
With purpose once again
Things to do
Deadlines to catch

So much it’s overwhelming
And I wonder
Do I really want
This resurrection?

So reluctantly I rise
Beg forgiveness
For my forgetfulness
And return to my life
