Going on a Snipe hunt?

If you've ever been to camp, you've probably been on a snipe hunt... a search for the ever elusive creature that no camper can locate while the counselers sit back and giggle about their charges being sent on a wild goose chase in a dark.

Snipes are imaginary creatures? Right? Right?

It discusses a guy who died while trying to get a rare egg out of a nest...

It goes on to say:

He had a series of convictions for activities prohibited under the 1981 Wildlife and Countryside Act. These included taking golden eagles' eggs from near Inverness, attempting to do the same near Perth and of possessing snipe eggs in Lerwick.

Back the train up - Snipe eggs?!? WTF? Apparently not. Snipes aren't imaginary at all. Learned something new!
