Inauguration Prep '09 - Trip Report.

I took a trip downtown today to check out the preparations for next weeks inauguration events.

Let's get ready to PARTY!

The press is everywhere, here are some of their rooftop lairs overlooking the White House.

Walls, Fences, Security, have also sprung up everywhere. Here is Lafayette park across from the White House.

I love a parade! This is the view people in the parade will have as they approach the presidential reviewing stand.

I stopped for lunch at the Post Office pavilion and went up in the tower you can see in the previous photo. You get a great view from the top.
