My Bon Jovi Vegas Review

After driving all night long. Waiting in line since 6am Fri 4/24 with no sleep at all. Getting told different things by security. Only security who knew what was going on was Reggie and he was awesome to us as a group. We had over 200 people on a list since 6am with numbers on our hands trying to make it easier on security. In the end they did give out wristbands and Reggie helped us when lining up to get to the front since his boss was a poop head to him when it came time to honor us who had been waiting since 6am.

Since the show was General Admission standing only he had no idea how dedicated Bon Jovi fans are or the fan club for the most part. Since most who were waiting since 6am were fan club members. We were let into que lines at 4:30pm and left standing another 3 hours before the doors to The Joint opened and we managed to be about 4 people back from the front barrier between Jon and Richie but closer to Jon.

Perfect spot.

Those around us were there since 6am as well with numbers on their hands so we were all respectful of eachother and didn't experience any pushing and shoving. There were a few in front who left and we managed to go up even further. But to be honest as much as being right there at the barrier would have been amazing in some ways it was good to be a couple people back in all honesty with the guys line of sight.

I managed to take 484 pictures including 4 videos. Lighting kind of stunk but overall am happy with the ones that really turned out wonderful. Jon gave us all attention including quite a few times myself when i'd hold up my phone or camera. And my reactions to him were probablly priceless.

Richie on the other hand he would watch me and i'd make eye contact and he would return that eye contact. Amazing.

But being with 7 of my closest Bon Jovi friends from CA was priceless to all be so close and up front like that to see Bon Jovi was just amazing. We thought for sure they'd only play for 1 hour but were mistaken when they had played 2 whole hours for us. Jon was in a great mood and instead of a vanilia set list. We got a setlist with surprises in it. Including Blood on Blood (i did request this in my song request post)

A night we won't ever forget. The next afternoon Becky and i were sitting on a brick wall (Jon was in an Escalade waiting to be driven off property) we just wonder what he was thinking of us sitting there lol...

So i didn't get much sleep at all nor food. Fri night i slept well but we had to be up to meet friends and then spent the entire Sat walking the strip. THen coming home on Sun to go to Disneyland and Jazz Kitchen.

So dont' tell me you're all tired from MouseAdventure. I really crashed last night but am so much better this afternoon.

I need time to sit down and really start working on my pictures and videos and reviews of the night. Memories were definitely made. I love Bon Jovi and i love Las Vegas.

Ty everyone. I wish i had my camera at work tonight to show off the pictures. It was funny a coworker who claims to be in the fan club had no idea they played Vegas and i went til tonight. He was so mad that he didn't know but he could have checked the fan club for information. Ha!!!

Anyways i just shared a couple awesome ones with friends who one already flipped over the Jon one. I had no idea i took it. Basically of him at the mic stand with his guitar and his right arm in the air and in his hand his guitar pic is on his thumb. Lighting from behind shining down. It gives me chills that i took this picture and i think it's suitable for framing it's one of my best ones of him from that night.

One of my friends who went has her pictures up and she has a few decent shots of Jon but she's a Jon nut and will die when she checks her email in the morning lol...

But of course. Heck i would do it again in a heartbeat thru all the waiting the unknowning the stress everything for those memories. Matt is working on a few of my pictures and i'll have to ask him how to share on here since i have never done it before.

Bring on the tour now. I'm so ready to take more pictures. I amazed myself with the number but only 2 hour show so plus i was trying to enjoy the attention from both Jon and Richie and not snap away all the time even though i was lol...as much as i'm a Jon girl now my heart still belongs to Richie. There's something about him that just makes me feel so good and warm inside.

Ok well i'm catching up on my rest and working on my pictures in the next few days. But the best thing is being there with my friends enjoying the music that brought us all together in the first place.
