Cheap/Easy webpage

I need to throw up a simple website for my class reunion. Just a few pages, reunion info, classmastes list, in memory of. Photos would be nice but not necessary. A way to make payment also nice but not necessary.

Last go round I purchased a name and went through Go Daddy - It was something like $150-200. Then like $70/year to keep it up which I didn't as there weren't enough funds.

So anyone know an easy way to do this. The site only needs to be up until around Sept 2014.

I did a Facebook page but you can't access it unless you join and it's just not some people's gig.

You could use something like Blogspot. It's free.

I have Earthlink for my email, and they have free webspace. They have a "WYSIWYG" (what you see is what you get) website building program. Just a point-and-click type, easy to use to build a website, as many pages as you want. I use this for my buisness website, and I have my family website there as well. I think I remember seeing someplace else have free webspace, like Time Warner. Check with some of your services to see if you have any.

Then I went to Lowest Hosting to get my buisness website name (as listed below), and had it pointed to the website (because it had some unweildy name that included my full name, earthlink, and random characters in it). It's only $21.95/year.

Thanks GD - looks like blogspot will work fine. I just want a central place I can direct people to for information.
