![]() so the boss tells you that the company is going to do a DVD feature about you and your job... a sort of "day in the life of" recording. there is no script. in fact, it is up to YOU to create a storyline and a script. what are your ideas?
Walt used to use these brainstorming sessions where no idea was to outrageous to consider. so with Disneyland (all Resort areas ok) as your "set", how would your storyboard look? would the opening scene be at the Mickey floral bed before Park opening? or the middle of Main Street with a parade approaching? perhaps a backdrop of Sleeping Beauty Castle with a co-host at your side: the president, ambassador, or Mickey? humor is ok. what funny scenes might you include? nostalgia is ok. what sentimental scene would you create? what not-to-be missed feature simply must be included in your film about YOU. would you schedule "the shoot" around the holiday decorations? what background music, opening song or sound effects would you use? do you need to cast some actors to interact with? how would your script be written? voice-over narration or direct lines or both? what are your lines? go ahead. get creative. have fun. YOU are the star. ![]() ....and ACTION!

Hummm...
Interesting. I'll have to give this one some thought. So who is the audience? Is this for new hires? The General public? Theatrical release? What's your budget, can we get Pixar involved?

Quickly, off the top of my head, opening, cliche'd aerial shot spiraling down and following the Ward Kimball as it makes its way around the tracks, camera angle changes from overhead to a trailing dolly following the LilyBelle. The LilyBelle comes to a stop at NOS, slow dolly to the rear platform and the door opens, I step down with Mickey on my arm ....... to be continued

The Plot & Premise: Me & Johnny Depp, fueled on a weekend Rum bender, dressed in dashing Pirate & helpless, slutty wench garb.
My film, of course, is an homage to Pirates of The Carribean. (it will be released as a bonus disc in the Dead Men's Chest Limited Special Edition DVD.) It's titled Disneyland After Dark: What Walt Never Intended. The working title is Screw Thunder Mountain: A Tribute To The Real Wildest Ride In The West. Guest Appearances: Guest appearances include Christian Slater, Michael Imperioli, Christopher Meloni & Luke Perry in his 90210 heyday. No, I don't want Luke. I actually want Dylan McKay. Special cameos are made by Scott Bakula & James Marsters during the "double swordfight" scene, if you know what I mean. Soundtrack: My soundtrack will feature selections from Pirates, of course. And Captain Eo. And "Who Shot A Hole In My Sombrero?" from the late, great America Sings. Why? Because it's MY movie. And because deep down, you want to see hot, shirtless men flexing to that song. Props Include: mouse ears, baby oil, glow ropes, one slightly bent churro, Harold from the Matterhorn, a Mickey Mouse costume head, a basketball & a garden hose, astroglide, a rickety sky bucket, Jingles, the stick that cast members use to poke Jose awake in the Tiki Room, & copious amounts of penicillin. Holiday Additions: Hmmm..same movie, same premise, just add Santa hats. There's my creativity! No idea was too outrageous! I followed the rules! ![]() I can't believe I took MickeyLumbo's fabulous thread and filthed it up. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

![]() Hahahaha! ![]() This is all I have so far: Starring: Me, Johnny, Christian & the rest of the cast from my Pirate movie. However, we're adding a new character: Jake from Sixteen Candles. Props: My leading men & their, um, "rocket rods". Oddly enough, the unpopular Tomorrowland attraction is never even addressed or featured. And this one is for my private collection... ![]() ![]() Last edited by AllyOops! : 09-01-2006 at 02:01 PM. |
