Hello people of LOT,

I have been absent for many months, working on an original project that is now (finally) ready for public viewing. It is called The Velvet Mouse Show, and is our heart-felt homage to the great Saturday Morning cartoons of our collective childhood.

If you go to the video section of the site, you will be able to view our 7:00 pilot episode in its entirety.

As the single smartest group of creative people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting (both virtually and in-person) I thought it only right that I share this very special preview with you, my oldest and newest friends and boon companions. And that goes for rest of you too.

Apparently, there is a robotic shark in an upcoming episode. (It makes a lovely downloadable wallpaper, as well!) Great work, Russell! Can't wait to see more.

(One element that was "missing" - the horrible canned laugh track! All of those old Saturday morning band/detective cartoons had it, and it was always embarrassingly bad.)

Which voice (or voices) were you?

We're going to hold off on the laugh track...but there WILL be a mechanical shark...and we will name him Flippy Bruce, in your honor.

And for the record...I voice Donny Paradise and Jupiter James.

And I think that FB has revised their nomenclature so you can only "like" a page that is not an actual person.
