SNAP My daughter won 4th place a the talent show
This is my proud mommy moment to share with you. While we get to hear my daughter play guitar and sing all the time (serenade while making dinner anyone?), it's rare I get to see her perform in front of people.

Last night we got to see her perform at her high school's talent show. Out of 21 acts, she won 4th place. I'm so proud of her.

The winner has won every single year. He played a Bruno Mars medley which I found a bit cheesy. Second place was a drum solo. Both had good stage presence. Third place was another guitar player singer who sang an original song.

That was great! I like the embarrassed little bow at the end, it was cute. The crowd seemed to like it too. Congrats Amy, well done!

Awww. There was actually a lot of talented kids there. (although I know I'm partial to my own - I think she could have one it if she'd selected a little more upbeat song perhaps.)

I'm looking forward to the upcoming musical, Guys and Dolls, that she'll be trying out for on Monday.
