The 10 CD challenge

Ok, here's the deal. Post 10 albums that you really enjoy that are completely different from each other. No crossing of genres. Yes, you must own the full album, regardless of format. And it must be something you really enjoy, not some fluke cd you listened to once and realized was crap.

Yup, this is totally subjective as to what's same and what's different, but it's fun anyway.

Extra points if you can come up with more than 10.

Frank Sinatra - Come Fly With Me - Swanky lounge stuff
Shpongle - Are You Shpongled? - Trip-out ambient electronica
James Gang - Greatest Hits - 70's guitar rock
Janet Jackson - Rhythm Nation 1814 - 80's super-hit pop with hard beats
Nirvana - Nevermind - Loud angst-ridden violence
Talking Heads - Little Creatures - thought provoking sillyness
Suburban Legends - Suburban Legends - Straight-up ska
Alanis Morisette - Hands Clean - Chick alternative
Libby Kirkpatrick - Winged - Singer/Songwriter folk guitar
Sean Lennon - Into the Sun - Surrealist bossa nova, among other things

Go!

Ooh, Gn2, I forgot about soundtracks, and I didn't even list my Disney stuff!

I must quibble here though...two Disney related albums? And two orchestral soundtracks, not to mention Sondheim? I know you can do better than that.

Hmm, mental note, must fix up Scrooge and Gn2...

Hmmm How to say? If Scrooge runs up on any boyfriend material in the forseeable future, he ain't gonna be giving it away.

Think Finding Nemo "MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE"

Geez, I hope I got that quote right!

Enigma - Cross of Change - Storytelling

Sarafina! - African rhythyms

Andy Williams - Can sing the phone book if he's like. Crooning at its best. Crystal clear.

Woof!

Okay, I'll switch out The Mission soundtrack for ELO: Out of the Blue, but the Sondheim (not an orchestral concert) stays.

Now I'm ready for the desert island.
With cupcake boy.

Scrooge, if you liked Herb Alpert, you'd love that my collection also includes Flatt & Scruggs, The Black Dyke Band, Santana, Mike Oldfield, a huge amount of Big Band, and far too much music performed on the Mighty Wurlitzer.

I am NOT a roomate one should make resentful.
