WOO! I've been promoted!

I haven't posted much about my job since I started in Sept of 04... And I haven't been around all that much recently... But I wanted to share.

I've been promoted. Again. That is 3 times in little over a year.

I started out as a CSR, promoted into the technology dept as a liasion between CSR and technology. Then I was promoted into a data manager, maintaining search results and managing databases. I've just been promoted and am in training to become a database developer.

This is a long way from being an assistat at school and running a Baskin Robbins (which is what I was doing when we all first met).

I won't be developing databases, we have database architects and administrators for that. I'll be developing sql scripts to bring data to the front end.

My skills set.. or lack there of and our desperate need for skilled DBAs will keep me safe... for now.
