In Praise of the Highland Cow

I realize I am easily amused by most things in the animal kingdom, but I did not know about the Highland Cow. I like cows. I've stopped next to pastures in Switzerland to say Hi to the Swiss Cows. I've been know to talk to cows at state fairs. But, even the lovely Swiss cows don't hold a moo to these babies:

That's it. I'm moving to Scotland to become a Highland Cow farmer.

Wish I had hair like that (again)!

And picking your nose with your own tongue is tre chic! Almost as much as getting someone else to do it for you.

A few more piercings and these babies could really take off!

Ooooh, let me know when their first CD comes out.

Though I guess, when it comes to cows, it's dangerous to request anything referred to as a compact disc.

Well, having been a barn fairy for a bunch of Friesian horses (Friesians poop a whole lot), I can't say I'd be up for mucking after these guys. But other than that, they are a handsome lot.
