Tenerife Camel Park

Ken and I are thinking about a camel caravan safari during our stop in Tenerife:

The website looks fun, but I can't get over the random cheesiness of the graphics on this page: http://camelpark-tenerife.com/es/parque.htm

I especially love the random girl jumping over the camel against a bright sun-colored moon......

And, check out the children waving checkered racing flags by a school bus on this page: http://camelpark-tenerife.com/es/precios.htm

So, have any of you ridden camels before? It looks fun!

I have ridden a camel before. It was at a fair when I was kid, but there wasn't anything particularly interesting about it beyond the initial fact of being on a camel.

The website is funny.. it almost seems like a farce.... i love the girl jumping off the camel and waving in midair.... i laughed....

Their location is sure mysterious.....somewhere in the desert you will find a map.......

I think the blush of riding a camel will wear off soon if the place you go isn't interesting.

My brother in law and a friend of ours have very unflattering things to say about riding camels in Egypt

Yeah, keep in mind that in the regions where camel riding is frequent, whenever it was feasible to do so they used horses instead.

A week or so ago some lady who ran a camel joint was crushed by a camel. It knocked her down, sat on her and wouldn't move.

No Camel Light jokes, please.
