A movie is in pre-production for 2008, Emma Thompson as Lady Marchmain. Loved the book, love the mini-series on PBS, no doubt will see the movie, too.

I've never seen the series nor read the book and I suspect I would like it. I should rectify that.

The mini-series was so good, I do wonder how they can fit this into a 2 hour movie. Who am I kidding, it's Emma Thompson (and a cast tba, dare I hope Alan Rickman shows up?), I will see it anyway.
