Major score at Kohl's

Totally lucked out on my lunch today. I went in to Kohl's to see what I could see (always a dangerous idea...

) and at first found a cute blue top made out of a fairly gauzy lightweight fabric, ruched and elasticized at an empire waist, and comes with the tank top that goes under it, also gauzy and lightweight. Awesome in and of itself.

BUT THEN...

I hit the sale racks. Well, to be more specific, I hit the 80% off rack. Just 'cuz, right? Found a white tank top with lace on the collar for $4.40, found a cute orange sherbet-colored muslin crossover top for $6, and the coup de grace, a knee-length, empire waist dress made out of super soft black cotton knit (somewhere between a t-shirt and a feather, if you get my drift). It was $10.

So between the $4 knee-high burgundy/light burgundy striped socks yesterday and the $10 dress today, I seem to have unintentionally assembled my bats day outfit. At least I don't have to drag out the sewing machine, LOL.

So... A moment ago I read my own thread title as "Major scare at Kohl's" and thought, "Heh, that would be me, trying on a bathing suit."
