March 11th 2008 ! Space Shuttle Endeavour lift off this morning ! I was there !

This morning we went to Titusville for the Shuttle Launch and it was so special to be there watching with excited people clapping their hands etc....

it was probably once in my whole life but now i've at least one and at night time .

Hope yours goes better than mine did.

But it is pretty cool to see in person, even from as far away as Cocoa Beach (which is where we watched Columbia take off on what turned out to be its last trip).

FANTASTIC!!!! How exciting to be there! Thanks for sharing the video too. I sort of love how it was swallowed up by the clouds.

That was pretty darn neat! Was the crowd reacting to the shuttle being swallowed up by the clouds when it did...or something else? Also it looked to me like a big beam of light and fire...did it look that same way to you actually there?
