Dog friendly beaches
Hi-
My parents are taking a trip to California- they are taking my daughter (I am so gonna miss her!) and their dog- Bandit. The primary cause of the trip is to visit my grandfather- who lives in Venice. Mom is not sure about taking the dog to the beach- they would like to stop and let Rose play but are there dog friendly beaches in their area? Trying to recall the area they said they would be in- Venice, Santa Monica, Marina Del Ray? *sigh* Anyway- anyone know of areas where they can take the dog? |

I know there are good ones in Long Beach, and Huntington Beach, but I don't know of any dog beaches near the area your parents are visiting. Here's a link that shows many dog parks in the area your parents will be.

HI!
|
Long Beach and Malibu are it for LA County. I've never been to the Malibu beach but I've spent LOTS of time at the Long Beach Beach. It's a great dog beach, but due to the breakwater, there aren't any waves. Huntington has a nice dog beach and there is no breakwater there, so good waves.
