Wow, that's crazy!

It's very sad to see the children swimming and collecting stuff through all the garbage. The one pic looks like a littered street instead of a river!

Ugh. Another reminder that humans are f'd up. I don't care how poor or low-tech the city, shouldn't people have some dignity as to how they deal with trash? Just a landfill would be much more responsible.

Landfills cost money to dig. Yes, their government should take better care of the impoverished, but I hardly think we can criticize those that dig through that trash trying to make a living.

My criticism was towards the government/administration of whatever city/country/etc. For every group of people there are people that manage things.

No need to dig a hole, just a pile of trash would be a better service than a freaking river of it.
