Ended on my route...

cops and copters everywhere.

A block down from where I was going to lunch....

Anyone catch it on TV?

Yep, but I didnt find out about the cape till later..

Yeah, I saw some of that on Fox today....what was the deal with the cape? Disgruntled Laker Fan or something

What time? When I was having my morning coffee at work - at least 6 helicopter appeared over the building, hovered a bit and then seemed to proceed down the 10.

It started around that time, and passed where I stay in the OC at around 11ish. I was about to leave, and decided to veg out a few more and watch some TV. 5 minutes later, they break to the story, and the dude was passing my onramp. I kept thinking afterward (and watching him on the fwy) that I was lucky I didn't get on the road when I originally planned. Didn't need to be near that guy!
