I really wanted to like it, and I watched the first few episodes, but I just couldn't get into it.

oh, believe me, erica, you are like the 40th person whose opinions I trust to have raved about this show.

(As for the tiresome commercials, that's one of the big sell points about just waiting for the DVDs)

I love HEROES! Haven't missed an episode since it started.
Mousepod and I discuss it all the time.

If you get a chance, read the Heroes Graphic Novels available on NBC.com. They add a little more to the story..things that might not make it into the show.
If anyone wants, they can access the Graphic novels 1-31 combined (Caution: 390MB file) via FEJSEZ.COM

Its funny because I love the show and I know many people who love it too. But I am surprised I know some comic sci fi geeks that didnt get into it.. I think its has a great story and it combines it's characters in such cool ways, for me its like watching a comic book come to life...

thecorndogwalker & I seem to watch all the same shows.

Heroes ROCKS! My boyfriend & I have Heroes viewing night every Monday. It might be the only time he wiillfully changes the channel from one of his many ESPN's.

The characters are amazing & fascinating (the only characters I'm a litte "eh" on are Matt & Nicki) and it keeps me glued to the edge of my seat each week.

I can't wait for the finale on Monday! Oh, and FYI- I do believe there is going to be an all-day Heroes marathon on the Sci-Fi channel this Saturday. I'm already stayin' home and parkin' myself in front of the TV.

I was looking at some pics for next week's finale.. I think Niki and Jessica are going to split in two.. Some pics show them fighting each other.. unless its that girl that can make herself into other people.. she is a major biotch... (dig her powers)

I had no interest until I read that Chris Eccleston would be guest starring. Even if he's only in a couple of episodes, I will now have to watch the show from the beginning when it's out on DVD. I try not to miss a good Chris Eccleston fix when presented with one.

He's very good in the show.

Now that I'm all caught up, filled in the gaps from the few episodes I saw before... I am certain I'll watch the whole thing front to end again. It was nice to do it so quickly and at my whim.

It makes me want to crack open my Season 1 "24" again. Relive the good old days of Jack Bauer (I had to stop watching after the 3rd season).
