Netflix vs BBonline

Does anyone here use Blockbuster online or Netflix?

If so, what are the pros vs cons to each? Ive been heavily considering ordering one or the other and leaning towards NetFlix, but BB is a little cheaper, and Netflix has a little better reputation...

Any opinions? Ideas?

I don't know what Blockbuster's deal is, but Netflix is 100% awesome. Excellent seleciton, excellent stock (as in, almost every title is ready to ship immediately), shipping times are usually 1 day for us, and it's under $20 a month. The discs are always in good condition: since signing up with them for again (a couple months ago), we haven't even had a DVD skip on us once.

I guess Blockbuster's is a couple bucks cheaper, plus you get the in-store rental coupons. So in terms of a deal, it seems better. But I can't vouch for their selection, availability quality control, or shipping times.

If you're really into the esoteric flicks, I absolutely recommend you pick up a cheap all-region multisystem DVD player, and sign up for NICHEFLIX .

You'll get a chance to see movies that are otherwise almost impossible to find as rentals.

I love Netflix as well. They've got a great diversity of films; probably not as esoteric as mousepod's find, but it's okay for my general viewing needs. (However, I will check out Nicheflix as I really miss that little Hollywood video store where I used to find some real rare film gems).

I've heard that Blockbuster takes longer to turn around the receipt/send out of DVDs than Netflix. Maybe that's just because they have less regional distribution centers or something?

However, I've been burned so many times by Blockbuster on in-store rentals and their arcane way of calculating late fees, I just don't want to take a chance on switching to their online service.
