[Not Afraid]

I am skummier than if I've been camping. But, I'd getting laundry and housework done (sloooooooooowly)

I have been swanky all week so far. If I manage through Friday, it might be a record.

I'm wearing a grey pleated skirt and a black and white sweater that is tightly fitted and ribbed and lined in a way that makes my bust look wazoo and my waist look less there and my hips look birthreadyalicious.

Silver watch. Red earrings, vintage. And sparkly Indian shoes to match the jewelry and my happy mood. Hair is an even reddish color, down (again!) and styled neat, with the bangs clipped up, up, and away.

Even my legs are shaved. The first shave of spring after a long winter growth period.

Helloooooooooo spring.

Helloooooooooo smooth legs I no longer have to hide, or reveal and be ashamed of.

Helloooooooooo clean clothes!

However, I am an altogether different story. I am the Scuzz Queen! (Not as cool as the lizard queen, hardy har har! )

I am packing while also giving myself a Microdelivery Peel, so my hair is in a big ol' ponytail, a pair of drawstring, navy blue fleece yoga pants, and a heather grey tee-shirt with DKNY in navy blue satin letters.

And those trusty n' comfy, fluffy n' fuzzy pastel slippers.

Green chenille bathrobe (yes, it's 4:30) WILD hair that has more grey than I remember, and mascara under eyes I didn't seem to get off last night.

I know. I considered not wearing the green shirt too, and then I would unbutton the fly for anyone complaining about my lack of green, but in today's paranoid climate, that's the kind of thing that can get a girl fired from church work.
