So, I just got some wonderful news just now. My sister, after numerous interviews and testing etc that carried on for months and months, has been accepted to the HPD Police Academy. She's going to be a police officer. She's the top cadet in her class. That's so amazing.
She's following in my dad's footsteps. He's a retired police sergeant.
I am totally and completely happy for her.

But, me being me, it doesn't end there.

I'm happy and completely terrified. Which I don't think is fair, it's not giving her enough credit. She's a tough person.

But it still doesn't take away the fact that I love her and hope that nothing bad happens to her.

I would never, ever tell her that I'm nervous about the whole thing. In fact, I haven't led on at all that I'm worried. But I am.

Urg.
