Yes, thank you. I was not offering my response as a serious evaluation of the intended humor. I'm well aware of what was intended.

ah. ok. i considered that as a possibility, but it is hard to glean "nuances" from typing.

Ahh, you will get to know Alex soon enough, then...

For example, the above smilie wouldn't make an appearance in his post -- well, unless he was suffering from a mental breakdown of sorts. Nuance in typing is just something you have to gain over time.

I love the "soul" getting away!

My dogs, however, would never say "do not want" to broccoli. They beg for veggie scraps when I'm cooking. I doubt I could even get them to hold still in front of broccoli long enough to take a picture. ![]() The Siamese puzzling over the cupboard lock made me giggle, though the caption is pretty much superfluous.

We once had a dog that would eat ANYTHING (including broccoli) except for peas.

It regularly ate dinner leftovers and one of its favorites was tuna casserole. We'd put down a plate of it and it would be gone in 5 seconds and left behind on the plate would be a neat little stack of perfectly clean peas. |

Har har, that dog would hate my cat's current duck and pea diet then...

I think my cat would love to eat just about anything, though. Poor guy. I wish I could give him treats. Maybe I should just have some thawed out peas for treats... I'm not sure he'd eat those without the duck.

My hounds used to chew up celery and not eat it but if I cut it into smaller chunks they like it. They just don't like the strings.

Peas, broccoli, asparagus, green and red peppers (though not the hot kind), green beans, all are recieved as doggie treats. I can't remember what else I've tried them on. They don't like citrus or onions, which is fine as I find out later they are not supposed to have onions or garlic. Or grapes.
