Emmy Nominations

They're terrific this year!

Lots of love is given to deserving shows. My favorite nominees include:

-Best song, "I'm ****ing Matt Damon" (also Flight of the Concords)
-Best animated over sixty minutes, South Park's "Imaginationland" episode
-Best animated under sixty minutes, Simpsons' "Eternal Moonshine of the Spotless Mind" episode
-Design, credits and costumes for Mad Men (performances also good)
-NPH for best supporting actor in a comedy series!
-John Adams taking the most noms (it's terrific and brutal, if you haven't seen it)
-30 Rock taking the second-most noms
-Pushing Daisies taking fourth-most noms (but no best comedy; what's that about?)
-Stewart and Colbert (though Stewart is for the Oscars, not his show)
-This American Life with lots of noms for non-fiction and (way deservedly) cinematography. This brilliant translation from the radio show is my new favorite TV art.

Until then, I'd like to nominate a few folks whom I deem worthy of receiving an Emmy. (I'm talking about our evil little Siamese named Emmy.) Any volunteers to be nominated?
